He is currently working as a scientist at Smart Manufacturing Cell, Central Manufacturing Technology Institute, Bangalore, with a focus on Electrical Automation, Motion Controllers, IoT, advancing technological solutions in manufacturing under the supervision of Shri. Prakash Vinod (Joint Director & Centre Head, Scientist-F), Shri. T Narendra Reddy (Group Head, Scientist-D) and team. He is highly motivated and results-oriented researcher with experience in basic research, design, and development across diverse technical fields including wireless sensor technology, data interpretation using ML Techniques and aircraft engine control system services.

  • Wireless Sensor Technology:
    • Early expertise in RFID technology for structural health monitoring.
    • Proficient in simulation analysis of RFID tag antenna sensors using ANSYS HFSS.

  • Development of low-cost vibration-based condition monitoring DAQ system in industry 4.0 (Outcome – 01 MTT Journal, 2024 )
    • Low-cost embedded microcontroller with MEMS sensor was integrated to acquire the vibration data from the asset under monitoring. FFT was computed at the edge and in real-time acting as a machine health indicator.
    • The lab-scale prototype is integrated with the live dashboard indicating the real-time raw data and FFT plot. The computed FFT spectrum response of MEMS vibration sensor was validated with the commercial vibration analyzer tested using vibration exciter on 3 phase induction motor. The response of MEMS-based DAQ system is followed by the commercial OROS vibration analyzer, asserting the reliability of the lab-scale prototype.
  • RFID based sensor system to enhance the safety of people in working environment – IEEE RFID TA CHALLENGE 2021 – In this project, we have tried to establish/develop a sensor system based on RFID technology for recording the identity and body temperature of the people in the working environment.
  • Tech Project – ‘Design and Development of Algorithms for Gearbox Health Condition Monitoring’ – My research work goes with fault detection and diagnosis using machine learning algorithms. Developed a working model ‘Mahalanobis-ANOVA Criterion (MAC) for optimum feature subset selection algorithm with varying threshold value in the fault diagnosis of rotating machinery’.
  • Tech Project – ‘Speed control of BLDC motor using Internet of Things’ – Developed a hardware kit for the application of remote control – giving more importance to automation using Raspberry Pi 3b tool kit as an interfacing device.
