Manjunath B N is currently working as Scientist B at Centre for Additive and Special Manufacturing Processes. He worked as Mechanical Design Engineer at L&T Metering & Protection Systems, Mysore for 1 year. He has  10 years of research experience in the field of Additive Manufacturing at CMTI. His Research interests are technology development for Hybrid material parts, remanufacturing, hardfacing / coatings, Metal Matrix Composites (MMCs) and applied R&D projects using Direct Metal Deposition and Direct metal Laser Sintering Technologies for industries. He is the faculty for training programme on Additive Manufacturing and Rapid Tooling course conducted at CMTI. Co-Principal Investigator for the project titled “Multi Material Deposition Technology Development for complex geometries of Aircraft Engine Components by Additive Manufacturing” funded by DST.
