The functioning of Engineering services is bifurcated into three streams- Civil, Electrical and Mechanical & Air Conditioning. ES will be providing engineering related works services for all departments of CMTI including essential services like water supply & power supply.

• Civil Engineering wing:
  The Civil wing is responsible of all civil engineering related works including Buildings and road construction works, minor and major building related repairs, modification and renovations, water supply and repairs of entire CMTI campus including staff quarters. Based on the user requirements civil wing will take necessary action for timely delivery of the requirements thru standard works procedure. A dedicated team is available with civil wing to attend any emergency plumbing and minor carpentry and masonry repairs..
• Electrical Engineering:
  The Electrical wing is responsible for all electrical related works including LT & HT works, substation works and internal electrification works. This team maintains all the general electrical related fitting and services inside CMTI. The AMC’s for UPS and internal telephone lines are processed by Electrical wing. Any minor internal electrical faults, fitting replacements, new internal electrical line drawing and street light maintenance will be done in house. This wing also provides services under electrical breakdown for machineries too. All electrical works beyond in-house capacity will be processed thru standard works procedure.
• Mechanical & AC:
  This wing is responsible for all mechanical related services such as EoT Crane maintenance, DG room operation, Maintaining Air conditioning systems, Air compressors, Rolling shutters, Minor repairing of machineries and equipments, shifting and transporting of machineries and equipments.
