Mr. Emmanuel specializesin Power Electronics and Drives, with practical research experience across the electrical and electronics fields. He began his professional journey as a Faculty Member at an engineering college, where he dedicated himself to teaching and mentoring students. Later, he transitioned to CMTI as a Project Fellow, contributing significantly to the design and development of various applications spanning Aerospace Testing, Industrial, and Consumer sectors. Subsequently, he served as an Engineer at BrahMos Aerospace Thiruvananthpuram Limited, focusing on the design and development of Electronics Systems for Defence Applications, before returning to CMTI as Scientist-B.

His noteworthy projects include the development of an Induction Heating System for heating pressurized fuel with closed-loop control, an enhanced Proportional Solenoid Valve, a Microcontroller-based Automatic Solenoid Winding Machine, and a Battery-operated UVC Disinfection Face Mask with wireless control, Custom LVDT Signal Conditioner Modules and Servo Controllers for aircraft actuator position control, and Electrical Panels for Aerospace Testing applications.

  • Development of LVDT Signal Conditioner Module, Servo Position Controller, and a Portable Electrical Panel for testing aircraft actuators.
  • Design and development of a Domestic Waste Segregation System based on Image Processing, under CMTI-Drishti Platform.
  • Implementation of Simultaneous Control of Pressure, Flow, and Temperature in an Electrical Panel for testing the performance of three fluid aircraft heat exchangers.
