This is an Integral part of Centre for Sensors, Vision Technology & Controls department. The focus of this group is development of systems and subsystems of tools which are being used for fabrication & packaging of Microsystems. These developmental activities grossly contribute to import substitution and also development of systems for academic versions which enables students/researchers to carry out their research independently at institute level.

This group mainly focuses on packaging of sensors .Presently, developmental activity of this group is focused on indigenous development of thin film based Temperature sensor for various industrial applications. Micro Flow sensors for biomedical application and flow sensor for ICU ventilators. Parallelly team is also focused on development of low cost Mask Aligner to address the needs of academia and various other research institutes. Presently a preliminary study on the design aspects is carried out by the team.
