Dr. Tapas Debnath is presently working as a Scientist in Aerospace Testing Lab, under Additive & Special Manufacturing Processes at CMTI. He has around five years of academic research experience, three years of teaching experience in the field of manufacturing & one year of Industrial R&D experience for process improvement & new product development.

He has a proven record of troubleshooting / rectifying issues of different faulty machines/machine tools and regaining their working condition, and also developed a few products/apparatuses which work as add-ons to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of manufacturing systems. He is skilled at handling projects, background study, writing research articles, drafting patents, real-time data and analysis, and also strives for more knowledge from different industries to imagine and bring out new solutions via the technical aspects of interdisciplinary research.
